Ramadan Kareem

Here comes the end of Shaban,
I can smell the fragrance of Ramadan,
It is so joyful!
Even though I am so sinful
But I am so hopeful,
When I will fast in Ramadan,
My sins will be wiped out and I'll be forgiven,
As the Almighty loves the acts of fasting,
Loves who fasts, and on him, He pours all the blessings.

Almighty pours the blessings whomever He wishes

Almighty pours the blessings
whomever He wishes,
I have to make sure,
I deserve to receive them
By seeking forgiveness from Him,
As only my sins
Keep away from His blessings!

এক যৌবন ছিল তার

এক যৌবন ছিল তার,
ভালোবাসা ছিল আর
ছিল আবেগ অপার,
ভুল ছিল,
ভুলগুলোতে মিল ছিল,
মিল ছিল তিলে,
তিলদ্বয় গালে আর গলে,
আঁখিদ্বয় কত কথা বলে,
প্রশস্ত কপালে
এসে পরা চুলে,
লাগে মৃদু হাওয়া,
তার আসা যাওয়া
সময়ের সাথে,
থেমে যায় থেমে যাওয়া পথে,
ব্যথাতুর হৃদয় হারায় আর,
ভালোবাসা পরে থাকে
পরে থাকে আবেগ অপার

এইসব বৃক্ষের ছায়া

এইসব বৃক্ষের ছায়া,
আহা কিযে মায়া,
শান্ত করা ছায়া,
জুড়িয়ে যাওয়া কায়া,
তপ্ত হওয়া হৃদয়,
জুড়িয়ে গেলে কি হয়!
যাক চলে যাক সময়,
বোধের তাতে কি হয়!
হয় না কারো ক্ষতি
নিজের টুকু দিলে,
হারিয়ে যায় প্রীতি
তাদের কিছু নিলে,
রাখো তোমার সবই
যা নিয়েছো তাও,
সবকিছু নিয়ে
একা থাকতে দিও,
আমি এইসব বৃক্ষের ছায়ায়,
ডুবে থাকবো মায়ায়,
জুড়াবো এই হৃদয়,
যাক চলে যাক সময় ।

One more time I was reminded

One more time I was reminded,
The Rizk (sustenance) is truly fated
To each living soul by looking at
The birds, eating bits and pieces that
Neither I or the birds knew,
But they waited and flew
Here right in front of me,
I had to wait for this to see
To feed my soul once more,
The beauty of the life I bore,
Is the mercy of my Lord,
The mercy only He can afford,
Thus one more time I was reminded,
The Rizk (sustenance) is certainly fated |

My Lord, All praises only due to You

All praises due to You,
Only to You my Lord!
I can't think how I could
Come into being without You,
In the womb You guided me,
I didn't have any eyes to see,
I didn't have hands,
I didn't have any limbs,
But You guided me,
You guided me through,
All praises can not but due to You!
Then You gave me heartbeats,
You blew the soul into me indeed,
You made me turn, drink and play,
You put me to sleep at night and day,
I grew up with Your mercy,
So much mercy, and blessings I can see,
I was born weak and helpless
what I can recall,
But You guided me to my mother
Who put me in her arms when I was so small,
And she cared, so dear and fed,
You arranged everything I needed,
That's so true, so true!
O My Lord all praises due to You!
I didn't have strength
In my arms and limbs,
But You gave me strength day by day,
You made me run, eat and play,
You guided me
whenever I was alone,
You gave me strength, You made me strong,
You gave me guidance, prophets and more,
You blessed me so much I can't ignore,
You guided me all this through,
All praises can not but due to You,
I know You guide me till today,
You will guide me any other day,
That's I always call to You,
My Lord, All praises only due to You!

হৃদয়ের বন্দি ভালোবাসা এ বসন্তে মুক্তি পাক

আকাশে চাঁদ উঠলে
বোঝা যায় আজ পূর্ণিমা,
গাছে গাছে সবুজে ছেয়ে গেলে
বোঝা যায় নতুন বসন্ত আগত,
ফুলে ফুলে সুশোভিত প্রান্তর
বলে দেয় বসন্ত এসে গেছে,
তোমার অবয়বে হাঁসির উৎচ্ছাস
দেখে বোঝা যায়,
বলা না-বলা অনেক কথা
হৃদয় বলতে চায়,
সুশোভিত এ বসন্তে,
ফুলে ফুলে রঙিন এ প্রান্তে
তুমি হৃদয়ে এসো,
এ হৃদয়কে ভালোবেসো,
বলা না-বলা অনেক
                    কথা বলা হয়ে যাক,
হৃদয়ের বন্দি ভালোবাসা
                   এ বসন্তে মুক্তি পাক....
