আসল পুরুষত্ব বলে নয়,
আসল পুরুষত্ব হলো নিজেকে ব্যক্ত করার মধ্যে,
সে কারনেই কবিরা আসল পুরুষ, বা কিরা কাপুরুষ!!!
True Manhood is not being sexy or not being macho,
True Manhood is to express yourself to your beloved one.
That’s why Poets are only true men, others are only sheep or lamb. (to other men: Just kidding folks :p)
****************************** ***************************
I was far, so many miles across,
Searching for a beautiful red rose,
Can be pink or red,
Can be small, or big will be great,
So I begged the man
Who had a large garden
To give me a rose pink or red,
“How can I pay for that?”
I asked and he replied by nodding his head,
“Roses are not for sale, I don’t sell to anyone;
Only, only to someone,
Who loves, truly loves his beloved one.”
I replied, “Indeed, indeed
I love her, I love her great”,
“How are so assured, it can be false,
When you say you love her more than anything else?”
“How can I show my love for her,
How can I prove my love to you, Sir!
She lives far, far from here,
It takes a long time to get there,
But I need today, now or never.”
I felt so sad, sadden with remorse,
Worried for my love, of course,
“It would be tricky to get a rose pink or red,
I don’t take any price for that.
Show me, show me, o young sadden boy,
How you love her, love her more than any other guy”
I requested a thorn, “Only a thorn, not a flower, are sure, are sure?”
“Yes Sir, I want to show you how much I love her”
The gardener plucked the thorn and gave to me,
He was surprised what was he about to see,
I took the thorn and wrote her name with that
On my arm, “that’s it, boy, that’s it,
Do things no more, you truly love her, love her much,
Take some flowers, take a bunch,
I saw the color of true love, love, and care,
I am assured, I am glad your love is much for her”,
I was joyful, tearful but glad,
Finally, I found the rose of red,
I rushed to her, hugged and kissed,
Gave her flower, tell her this,
“I was far, so many miles across,
To get for you, the nicest rose,
To show my love and tell you how beautiful you are,
When I set the rose to look and compare,
More beautiful than you nothing can be,
Will you stay my LOVE, forever with me….’
